The meanings for all of my names:
Alexis: (found on ohbabynames.com)
started out as a masculine given name derived from the same root as Alexander, from the Greek “alexin” meaning “to defend, protect”. While the Greek Alexandros means more specifically “protector of mankind”, Alexis means more plainly “to protect” (ward off, defend, keep away).
Lee: (found on ohbabynames.com)
is the transferred use of an Olde English surname derived from place names. In Olde English, the word “lēah” stood for a “clearing” or an open space where villages and towns could be established, such as a wood clearing or meadow in a forested area. (more commonly used for a boys first name)
